By the time I discovered I needed a bat, I'd completely forgotten there were bats on the balcony. I checked the tops of towers and staircases etc... drove me nuts. I had to use a hint to discover something I'd seen right back at the start of the game... gah!

The hardest thing was getting the rope, though.

I didn't expect the rope, but the step that results in gaining the rope was obvious to me, after the clue he gives you, and after the note if you say anything else there... :)

The one that took me ages (stupid, in retrospect) was getting the dagger. I just didn't think to look dagger...!

The clue? What clue? As for the dagger, I did look dagger as soon as take dagger failed :D

This is so brilliant. So brilliant, in fact, that I made a thread about it. Guess I should have scrolled down this page to find this thread first. :)

Shoulda known some bright EWNworlder would stumle across it before me... :)

Now to have time to actually play it this weekend; that is the question...

> jump window
Okay. You have jumped out the window and, consequentially, plummeted a couple of hundred feet to your death in the lake below.

:o

> kill othello
Othello pulls a scimitar out of his robes and neatly bisects you.

When you > talk macbeth, he mutters something about how actors hate him.

If you say anything in the theatre, it makes some comment along the lines of 'At least you didn't say anything truly offensive...'
