Happy Birthday, Mr. Gygax! Thanks for helping to create my favorite game (which brings me ever so much happiness), writing so many cool adventures (I just got the reprinting of "Against the Giants," and hope to run my players through one of the classics someday), and stories (I rather liked the "Gord the Rogue" books). And thanks for being so open to your fans here on the boards!

Happy Birthday

Dear Gary,

Happy birthday and may you have many more. You have influenced many people with your games and writing and helped create a whole new genre of gaming. I have enjoyed D&D and it's various incarnations for 20 years now and it has been very helpful in keeping me alive and happy in times I would rather not live. As a point of interest I am a clinical depressive and I have a hard time remaining in a good mood without substantial amounts of medications. Playing RPGs has made it that much easier for me to cope and enjoy my life. I really want to thank you for that. You have inspired me to write and now I am making up stuff for games too; I can only hope to reach your levels of success. You deserve a great birthday gift, and I wish I could afford something for a person of your stature. But a hearty thank you is the best I can do for now. Keep up the work and I hope to see more of your material in the future!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Gary!!! :D

The first D&D (and RPG) game I ever played was back when I was 10, and the older brother of one of my friends ran the Villiage of Hommlet for us. I was hooked immediately. Thanks for all the great memories- past, present, and future! Here's hoping you have many more happy, healthy, and cantankerous years! :D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GARY!!!!

I wish you health, happiness, and success. Thank you for pioneering a game that has brought me not only years of enjoyment, but has helped introduce me to several friends.
