HA! Go on, tell me I can't play a droid in Star Wars: The Old Republic...

Unfortunately, due to the stupid naming rules in the game not allowing numbers, I had to substitute "Five'c'r cr-o" as the actual character name, but this is 5CR-CR0... A.k.a., the tin man named "Scarecrow", lol.
I had to use the thinnest female frame they had and outfit it in the only set of cyborg armor in the game that actually has both arms and both legs as robot parts paired up with the helmet from yet another set of armor.
It took far too much time and cost me far too many in-game credits and $15 dollars of real money. But I did it - I am now playing a Jedi droid.

The things we do for ‘droids.

Welp, the COVID World Tour finally stopped in at our house. Dad was diagnosed Thursday, I tested positive today. Mom, thankfully, is still testing negative.

Dad hadn’t been able to schedule his booster, but Mom & I both got ours on Tuesday. I’m betting it’s doing its job. Right now, my symptoms are limited to a mild but persistent cough and irritated eyes- very much like a low grade cold. The coughing has given me -“a little light-headedness and the beginnings of a minor headache. No fever.

Funny thing: I’m getting ready to go to the pharmacy to get my paxlovid, but I already feel better than I did yesterday. Coughing less. My eyes feel fine, etc.

I have no way to PROVE it, but it’s as if my booster really blunted COVID’s effects on me.

Anecdotally, I vouch for this.
I'm fully vaxxed, yet - being surrounded by antivaxxers as I am - I've had it (at least) three times. It lasted 3 or 4 days for me, with a merge of a flu and cold in symptoms, but not as unpleasant as either one. At the same time, the (still!!) unvaxxed people in my family have had serious, multi-week illnesses, including hospitalization, in one case.
