I just sent that one to my folks.

Free room and board tooY'know, I used to think the twenty years I'd get for murdering Idiot Coworker Jim would be a deterrent, but more and more lately I'm starting to see it as an opportunity to sit around for the rest of my life doing nothing but savoring the memories of it...
Probably not a good thing, lol.
Or roommates. Trust me, no matter what you think, it is NOT worth it. I get that you're blowing off steam. Prison is no joke. Take some deep breaths and count to 1000 if you need to.Not the nicest neighbors, though. Might be a step down from Idiot Coworker Jim.
My personal take on this kind of thing is that it depends on your level of interest, your innate talents, and your motivation.Serious question. How realistic is it for a 50 year old man to learn to be an electrician? I turn 50 next month. I'm considering learning to be an electrician. And would it be a bad idea to take online classes through a technical college? I've done online classes before, but nothing to this level.
If nothing else I can learn to do my own electric work and know I have the knowledge to do it. With the stuff my house needs I could save money by taking the course.
This is why I keep coming back. The collective wisdom of the hive.My personal take on this kind of thing is that it depends on your level of interest, your innate talents, and your motivation.
Someone who is REALLY interested, has a knack for something, and is VERY motivated will do better than people who lack one or more of those qualities.
Well, it interests you AND you’re motivated. That’s 2 in the + column. This is why I keep coming back. The collective wisdom of the hive.
I know my current job will be coming to an end in the near future. I'm earnestly looking at what my next move should be. Electrician was something that piqued my interest.
