I've gone barmy
I tried the halfling barbarian idea once. I can't remember what happened. I think we only played once. I wanted a chance to climb up on the enemy and stabbity stab stab until dead. Never got the chance. I did have a chance to roleplay a little. I wanted to intimidate an orc prisoner in a cell. I jumped up on the bars, reaching through and yelling let me at em.
A halfling trying to intimidate an orc wasn't enough for the DM. He said the orc didn't understand common. I think it would have made it better. One day I'll give it another go.
