Has anyone used the Acolyte of the Skin PrC

I'm starting a new campaign and one of the players has an interesting character concept that involves the AotS PrC from T&B.

Does anyone have experience DMing such a character?
If so how well did it work and what problems (if any) did it create?

Thanks for any info.

I ran one at 8th level 5thwizard/3rd AoS and he was nasty. Loses a little in spell casting but gains a real nasty and powerful ability at 3rd. Probably not as unbalanced for say a character versus and NPC. But that glare they get is powerful. The other goodies seem balanced even for losing some levels of caster. I gave him leadership with a half infernal grunt to protect him was fun till he had to run away during a fight.

Sepulchrave II has one in his story hour. An NPC named Rimilin who is particularly nasty.
I've got one statted out in my campaign. I haven't used him yet, but I'm hoping I get the chance. It looks like a great, flavorful PrC.
