Nope. Nor will I. I have had an opportunity to peruse them, and continue to see no need to add them to my collection in physical or digital form.

Nope. I have no problems buying PDFs, but this is far too much money for the product. Cut the price + give me guarantees that you'll update the files and I'm in for all three of them.

I plan to buy the PHB and MM, but haven't yet- waiting for the gaming budget to move around a bit (and I might way to see if they directly incorporate errata, and buy then.)

Simple question. 4e core rulebook pdfs. Have you bought them?

They are too expensive. I'd rather buy a third copy of the PHB than spend the money for an electronic version at that price. If they drop the price to $10 a copy I'd buy all three. $15 I'd buy the monster manual as long as I could copy out the stat blocks into Word for writing adventures.

But at $25 per book they will see none of my money for PDF versions of the books.

If they get the fully funcitonal DDI up and running, I'll buy all three PDFs. 4E looks especially suited for online play.

I have to answer an emphatic no for purchasing the pdfs. Why?
  1. I don't like the current edition.
  2. I think the pdfs are overpriced by about $10.
  3. I do all of my game writing with a pen and paper, so cut & paste is meaningless to me.
I wish I could get a couple of the 3e books as pdfs at a reasonable price. I can't find some of them in print, so it would be nice to have them.

Nope. As much as I would like to have them, they aren't worth the price being asked. Fact is, I won't need copy/paste functions untill we finish the series WotC is currenty putting out. That won't be till, what 2009 some time? Even then if the price is still where it is today, I'll go with the other option. Sorry, WotC. You're simply placing too high a value on what is, to most people, supplementary material.

Edit: I know that polls on internet forums are not 100% reliable, but I find the extremly one sided results to be very telling.
