Head of the class (stonegod judging)[Concluded]

OOC: I just realized that Italimelk's meager +3 to intimidate is the best in the group; I thought for sure we had a social character or a cha-based caster in there somewhere...

"If you wish to serve, Bryllys will reward your obedience. I can take you there ... it is just off Wicker Street, it isn't far."

Seeing that apparently no one is coming any time soon, Tali joins the others interregoting the cultist, keeping his mind blade in hand (OOC: Because, well, that's got to freak out anyone that hasn't delt with soulknives before.).

"Really? That would be interesting." He says, the accents of a Sharn native showing strongly in his voice.

OOC: Though unless he's got a hefty circumstance modifier, he wasn't very convincing: Intimidate check (1d20+3=9)

The cultist swallows a little nervously at the sight of Tali's mindblade, but retains his composure. "Then release the three of us, return our possessions, help us retrieve the documents from the Professor, and I will take you to Bryllys."

"It seems to me that returning you to your friends is more than fair on our part, considering your initial violent reaction. Restoring your weapons isn't going to happen. Would you rather trust in Brylis to restore your fortunes when we return you to him, or would you prefer instead that we continue without you after ensuring that you are unable to interfere with the meeting?"

OOC: Raven is supposed to be a social interaction, Cha based rogue. I must admit she lacks intimidate, or a particularly good CHA. Umm..she's supposed to able to do other rogue stuff as well and fight, and um, even rogues run our of skill ranks...

Raven purses her lip. "The documents you seek have been removed. We will have to fetch them. We'll be back. But for now, I need to make sure you stay put. Seat, Anvuss, make sure this guy doens't have any spell components one him, can you?" Raven shoves him (& his tied up friends) to the floor.

Raven makes sure his face is away from the desk as he is searched. As any further useful items are removed from him, Raven will take the key and open Reeger's desk. She wants to take out any documents there relating to the codex. "Yep, the professor made sure to remove any documents after you kidnaped Loris. We'll go get it and come back. Should only take a couple hours." She winks at the others.

If she is able to do all this, she'll motion for the others to leave the room with her.

OOC: Manzanita. To clarify, you are currently in Reeger's lab. His desk is located in his office, which is on a different floor.

OOC: Whoops. Thanks. In that case, Raven simply wants to tie them up, make sure they have no weapons or spell components, and leave.

The cultist struggles against his bonds and looks as though he is about to reply angrily to Anvuss when Raven speaks. Again, he looks a bit confused.

OOC: What are Shoot, Anvuss, and Tali doing? Raven and Seat appear to want to leave the room.

An unfamiliar presense knocks on Raven's mind, as Tali wants to ask a question without the cultist hearing him. (mindlink, as per the Kalashtar racial ability)

What's this about? Is it important enough to leave the cultist unguarded, bound or no?
