(OOC: Yeah, I missed a 30 foot gap this morning. I tried to explain it with rules-fu that even I thought was wrong, but I trusted myself from last night to have a good reason for posting that. Then I remembered that he was closer :o)

(OOC: 80 feet to go!)

*Anvuss's opponent misses as he advances, now 80 feet away from Anvuss.*

(OOC: Anvuss's turn)

OOC: I thought the leader was 160 feet from Kharas at that moment and as he has shot twice after that and move each time (30 feet per move I suppose) and then, he must have double moved (60 feet) after Kharas have activated his device, that doesn't cover the whole distance yet... anyway, if he has grabbed it is annoying, but not the end of the world.

OOC: In that case, Kharas will take his weapon and then sheet it. He will rather try to speak some sense and leaving Anvuss to the task of figthing it after the effect wear off. Is it Kharas truns or Anvuss turn?

ooc: I think Anvuss may have dropped his scroll of expeditious retreat earlier. He'll run over and retrieve it now.

With the bad guy being on top of Kharas, Anvuss will change his action. Instead of trying to retrieve the scroll, he'll step to the other side of the bad guy, so as to be flanking if the situation becomes violent.

(OOC: He can't do both because picking up the weapon first requires a move action. It's Kharas's turn)

*As Kharas begins to pick up the weapon, the guard says:*

"That must be heavy. Here let me carry that for you," and he attempts to take it."

(OOC: Kharas can make an AoO first or just roll an opposed Disarm check)

OOC: A disarm is an offensive action and it is not clear if Calm Emotion would disallow that. He can take defensive action but not take violent action. If I grab firmly my weapon, I suppose he could not force it from me as it would become a violent action (opposite of just taking something that is given). Am I right with my interpretation?
