Heart of Artifice: Part I--Engineered Enigma

(OOC: That's because I don't want it to be voted in, even with my suggested changes--I could live with those changes though ;))

*Kharas knows that there is a fairly distinct sound from the whirlwind crafting and that the rainbow flash of light from the thelanium is also extremely telltale. He could try to wait until nightfall when some of them are asleep...*

*Kharas finds some crates in the back--he thinks he can probably get a pretty good hiding spot there--or at least he won't be noticed there unless someone specifically starts rooting through those crates in search of someone or something there.*

*As night falls, the guards switch onto watch shifts with only two to four awake at any one time. It is just after the guards have settled into one such shift that the ship passes over a large cloud bank, and just then, Kharas, from his position in the crates in the back where no one is looking and because his Darkvision allows him to see perfectly within 60 feet despite the dark, notices a very thin rope or line or something like that come over the side just near him from below. Before long, tiny little clanks of diminutive size come marching nearly silently over the line and onto the ship. Kharas can do something, or he can merely watch.*

*The tiny clanks move stealthily, using the things about the ship as cover and never moving more than a few at the same time, even though there are quite a lot of them, and eventually they reach beyond Kharas's Darkvision, so he can't see them anymore.*

(OOC: If he keeps waiting, that is okay too)

*After some time, Kharas sees a large bulky object covered by a shroud moving back towards the line. It is unclear exactly how it is managing to move--perhaps because the little Clanks are underneath.*
