*Before Anvuss can initiate his plan, the injured guard follows Kharas and hits him for a minor nonlethal blow, as the electric crossbow misses and sputters out in mid-air.*

*Anvuss backs up and imbues himself with strength as the other two enemies catch up to Kharas and move to flank, but the dwarf manages to dodge both blows again.*

Kharas will continue to escape, trying to find a way out of this island.

ooc: You can speed up infusions with long casting times by using an action point, but the normal casting time of Bull's Strength is a standard action. That's why I went with the 2nd level Bull's Strength instead of the better and lower level Personal Weapon Enhancement.

(OOC: Ah. Right--I was thinking of LWE

@Kharas--Are you sure about that? They do not appear to be bluffing about having a transport coming periodically but none left on the island. If you keep withdrawing from being flanked, you'll keep taking at least one AoO and then several charges)

OOC: Kharas dont' want to kill these guards. And anyway, he is at one hit from being knock out, he has not much chance to knock anyone else before he get unconscious.

ooc: Has Anvuss concluded what type of creature he is facing? Humanoid(human), construct, something else?

(OOC: They look to be perfectly human, but they match the description given by Kharas of those extremely humanlike living constructs. A closer chance to examine would give it to him for sure, or he could ask Kharas (who can affirm that it is the latter sort) )

(OOC: Hmmm, you might consider Full Defense and a 5-foot adjust to try to get an enemy between you and the guy with the spark shooter, then. It avoids provoking an AoO, which you would even if you withdraw, and it skyrockets your AC)

OOC: Seems like an option, I doubt I will be able to escape and I doubt I still stand a chance in that fight, but at least, they dont seem to want to kill me, and it might give times to Anvuss to do something brillant.

Anvuss, with his new strength, will attempt to take out the enemy he percieves as the most dangerous: the "spark shooter."
