Hellboy DVD Question

This was probably brought up before but I can't remember...

Is there going to be a second release of the Hellboy DVD?
I thought there was supposed to be a special edition release. Right now the current DVD on the shelves is calling itself the special edition, so I was wondering if that was it or if there was another one coming.

Does anybody know?

I liked the theatrical release so I'm looking forward to a great DVD release.

August 09, 2004 - Columbia TriStar has formally announced Hellboy: The Director's Cut for release on October 19 at a suggested price of $34.95. In addition to the director's cut, there will be a limited edition giftset with the director's cut and a Hellboy statue from Sideshow Collectibles for $59.95.

The director's cut is a three-disc edition, featuring a new cut of the movie with 20 more minutes of footage. The set will include all of the features of the original two-disc set, except there will be a a new director's commentary replacing the one with Guillermo del Toro and Mike Mignola.

There will be three more hours of bonus material, including the Comic Con 2002 panel Discussion with del Toro, Ron Perlman and Mike Mignola, a Mike Mignola Artwork Gallery with commentary and more.

Several of the deleted scenes will be partially restored. (Like the Cab scene.)
