Sorry for the problems but here is what happened.
Yesterday, there was an outage with our primary backbone provider which was causing the time outs when attempting to connect. That has been fixed!
Today, we had a dll go out on us unexpectedly which caused the server software to crash and needed a manual restart. I work for a living and have no remote access at work. So that had to wait until I was home to fix. I will be looking into what cased the dll to crash.
