Help Finding Movie Short, Shown at GenCon

A few years back (3? 4?) a movie short was shown at GenCon near the Anime section. Basic premise was a fellow hunting Dune-like sand worms. Only had two characters; the man with his rig and his dog plus the sand-worm itself.

The one he finds is much bigger than any he had found before.

The scene setting is a typical desert with some sand stone formations thrown in for good measure.

Hopefully I've provided enough detail to job some memories...
Does anyone remember the name of that movie and who produced it?
