Help for a Rogue/Fighter

Thanks, not sure how feat starved this character is though. 6-7 feats by 6th level is pretty darn good I thought. After a bit of thinking yesterday I think the final build will be:
Rog3/Ftr3/WhK6/InB5/MaT3.

Besides palm throw what's the next best thrown trick from Master Thrower that I will qualify for?

Featstarved: Every TWF fighter is feat starved.

You'll want TWF, ITWF, GTWF later, Two Weapon Pounce or Dual Strike, Two Weapon Rend later, WF and Weapon Specialisation, (Imp Critical and Telling Blow for a sneak attacker), Melee Weapon Mastery plus Quickdraw (mandatory for throwers) and Weapon Finesse if your Dex is higher than your Str.
For a thrower additionally PBS, Rapid Shot, Far Shot/Precise Shot and perhaps Ranged Weapon Mastery.

Instead of Imp Init I'd see to max my dex and take the luck feat that allows rerolls of init every day... plus Unbelievable luck (luck +2 bonus on the worst save! plus two rerolls).

I see what your saying but consider this by 6th level I have:
TWF, WF(dagger), WS (Dagger), Point Blank Shot, Quickdraw, Weapon Finesse, and one open slot. I get 4 more feats through level 20. As a Whisperknife, level 1, I get Rapid shot as a bonus.....I think with some good picks for those remaing 5 feats I can be a pretty good death dealer.

where are the feats Dual Strike, and telling blow? Complete Adventurer?

PHB2 and Complete Adventurer.

Dual Strike is like Manyshot for melee, Two Weapon Pounce (BAB +6 needed) is a charge attack with both weapons (and twice sneak attack/skirmish), Two Weapon Rend later is 1d6 +1.5*str mod damage when you hit with both weapons, Telling Blow (PHB2) lets you add sneak attack to a critical (that's why you need Imp Crit), the Luck feats are on Complete Scoundrel.

Don't forget the skill tricks!

Edit: Taking PBS seconded! The bonus to damage and to hit for throwing rocks.

I haven't picked up Com Scoundrel yet but I have looked through it a little. I am anxious to see what I can do with all those skill points.

Just wanted to point out that the weapon mastery feats are really only for fighters. I don't have my books handy, but I'm pretty sure you have to be an 8th level fighter or better to pick those juicy feats up. I think you have to have Weapon Sp. and also Greater Weapon Focus as prerequisites.

Also, I could not disagree more with the poster who said Precise Shot wasn't worth picking up. Taking a -4 penalty to hit everytime you fire into melee really bites.

Jontherev, for this particular build precise shot is not needed as, if the enemy is in melee with an ally I will move to flank and still get the TWF/SA damage on them hopefully for the big hurt/kill. The idea is for this character to not be dependent totally on ranged attacks.

For a fully ranged attack optimized character I agree that precise shot is important.

I love it when people read my posts carefully. :D

IDHMBWMN but IIRC you only need three levels of Tempest for the ability to use your weapon spec and focus feats with both weapons you're wielding... and at least your TWF penalty gets lessened.

Isn't the requirement simply BAB +8 and Weapon Spec? So you need 4th level fighter and +4 in BAB from other classes.

I'd suggest that the OP starts with Rog 1 and then takes a level in Fighter for L2 for the feat.

If the OP isn't bothered about Sneak Attack then Ftr 4 / Mk 4 might be an interesting start.
