Its driving me nuts! In the old TOS episode of "Amok Time" Spock needs to return to his home planet of Vulcan and marry his family arraigned betrothed. To make a long story short his fiancee' schemes with another vulcan to get out of the marriage. At the end Spock says to the schemers something like "You'll find getting is not the same as having"; something along those lines. Anyone that can help me out with the exact quote??? Thanks.

"After a time, you may find that 'having' is not so pleasing a thing after all, as 'wanting.' It is not logical, but it is often true."
-- Spock

"Fascinating is a word I use for the unexpected."
-- Spock

"We must acknowledge once and for all that the purpose of diplomacy is to prolong a crisis."
-- Spock

Another fantastic Spock quote occurs in the episode (can't remember the name) in which he goes undercover onto the Romulan ship in order to either steal their technology, or thwart the stealing of some Federation tech (darn my crappy memory).

When the female Romulan captain finally realizes she's been had, she says imperiously, "Who are you to do this to me?"

The response: "First Officer Spock of the Starship Enterprise."

Oddly enough, the title of the episode is "The Enterprise Incident."
