D&D 5E help me build a leve 12 UA for a short campaign

We are starting a short campaign for beginning at lvl12-14 (not decided yet)
everything is allowed and I wanna try the UA stuff.
I kinda like the Hexblade and I loved the Kadesh version of the fire sorcerer (pyromancer).

I need your help to build a "suicide squad" themed not goodies class. thought about multiclassing the sorcerer with the hexblade with maybe a fallen Aasimar to create a flavorful kinda xmen legion guy.

any ideas? how to multiclass? if multiclass? how to combine optimization with flavor.

the campaign should be a few session in a Chtulhu style horror

I haven't seen the movie, but I assume you want a party of PCs that aren't plain evil, but still kind of unorthodox and at least a bit "dirty"? Warlocks are always a good idea, and to stick with UA stuff, I would try for example this party:

Paladin, Oath of Conquest
Cleric, Grave Domain
Druid, Circle of Twilight
Warlock, Hexblade
Bard, College of Whispers

I don't suggest any multiclassing.

Pick races based on flavor as there isn't a lot of UA material on races anyway, although you could try one Revenant character and a Tiefling variant.

Also try to find extra spices in older UA articles, for example a different Fighting Style for the Paladin, the demon-summoning spells for the Warlock, and some of the new feats. You could also try the Runecaster prestige class (I'd use it on top of either the Cleric or Druid) if you dare
