The goal here is to produce a command-word activated Lesser Planar Ally device that can be used once per day, but that doesn't take 10 minutes to activate.
Now, command-word activated magic items just need the commadn word to trigger, but will it still take the casting time of the spell before it works, or will the spell happen immediately once the command word is spoken? If the latter, then the item is simple to create, requiring only Lesser Planar Ally, CL 10 (could be lower, but 10 minute duration is what I'm looking for), and Craft Wondrous Item
CL 10, level 4 spell = 72,000 gp /5 (once per day) = 14,400 gp
100 XP to cast spell x 50 charges = 25,000 gp
100 gp / HD (assume 6 HD) x 50 charges = 30,000 gp
Total price with this method, assuming I can include the third item on the list above (the 100 gp / HD to have the ally serve for 1 minute per caster level, treated as a material component so the user doens't have to pay it) comes out to 69,400 gp
So,
1. Is this all I need, or do I need to find some way of getting the spell cast quicker than the 10 minutes listed in the spell description?
2. Is it legit to include the 100 gp / HD into the costs to make it effectively a 'free' casting of lesser planar ally?
