Help on a shield character

Combat Reflexes, Improved Trip/Knockdown, Hold The Line, Movement Check...

Kick 'Em When They're Down from Dragon Magazine, if it's allowed.

A level of Monk and the Training Dummy from A&EG.

Lots of ranks in Tumble.

Which dragon magazine?
Where/what is movement check?

Or better yet, if you or someone else could recite what they give as I don't have a subscription to dragon.

Thanks,

Which dragon magazine?

Not sure, sorry. It allows you to make an AoO when someone stands up from prone.

Where/what is movement check?

It's from Kingdoms of Kalamar Players' Guide. It's a feat that means if you hit someone with an AoO because they're moving in your threatened area, they stop. Great for reach specialists.

"Ok, what's this 'mighty' thing do?"

"It lets me add my strength bonus to my arrow damage."

"You can't do that."

"Sure I can, let me look it up... See, it's right there."

"Hmm... I'm going to have to think about that."

The final answer was an OK. But given events this far, he's a little reluctant to let me try much. At least, he's reluctant without making me well aware of the fact that he's letting me "get away with something".

Hey, you're playing now in the group that I left???

Movement Check: The Kenzer dudes stated clearly that the feat descriptions need to be taken into account ruleswise... therefore the feat only applies to running and charging opponents.

Hm... I think if it's in the PHB, it's quite OK. A MCLB won't give you a serious advantage (projectile weapons aren't the best way to get your strength bonus into damage, and mighty won't change that).
