Help Price an item

It is writen up as an artifact but I'm curious what the cost would be using the guidelines. I'm not good at things with combined abilities and penalties.

It is a tooth and has to be placed in users mouth. Removal of it causes death (no save).

Tongues always active
1/day Suggestion
1/day Shout
1/week Word of Chaos

-2 to Charisma

tongues 2000*5*3 (yes, the CL is 20, but it doesn't help, so I'd not pay for it)

word of chaos 150*20*7 (1/week I usually do as a 2-3x reduction vs 1/day)

I'd give at most -4,000 for the -2 CHR. Those it hurts it hurts a lot, but not so bad for the rest....

So 30,000+24,000+32,000+21,000-4,000. so about 103,000.

I think the word of chaos is underpriced, but the rest is over priced. So 100,000 is close. You could toss in the "unassociated" things (and I would if a PC were creating it), but the synergy just isn't there to make it needed IMO.

It is slotless, so it should be 2x. But I'd go with 1.5x. The can't remove thing is probably worth something. It ain't exactly a good thing that they have to kill you to take it from you. (Baddies capture you, you are dead).

So I'd say anything from ~125,000 to 250,000 would be fair. I'd go with 155,000.

That whole 'removal = death' thing makes the item really hard to quantify. It's a pretty hefty downside.

Is the -2 cha a magical effect or based on the visual effect of the tooth?
