Wait a few hours, then visit the Mind's Eye :D

There's nothing about crystalline items in the Psionics Handbook, so for a few hours it's nothing about flavor.

Be sure to discover Finger of Fire :D

All I can find is on p. 125 under Weapons: "Most [psionic weapons] possess some crystal components, and some are completely composed of crystal."

I don't think this is treated as a "special material" like mithral or adamantine or glassteel. If I were going to price it, I would do it like the transparent steel ("nephelium") items found in the Sunless Citadel adventure (I think it was +100 gp per item, and the items acted no differently than their normal steel counterparts).

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.

Not quite official, but this is what I found at WotC's Psionics Board FAQ

Q: What are the rules for making crystal arms and armor? Also, what special attributes would making an item out of crystal be? I can't find this information anywhere in the PsiHB.
A: The April 2003 Mind’s Eye will contain some rules for crystal weapons. Here is what WotC_Mark has released concerning them:

quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Crystal Weapons and Armor
All psionic weapons and armor include some crystal in their construction. The amount of crystal used depends on the relative power of the item. While a simple psionic dagger +1 may have a small vein of crystal in the center of the blade, a suit heavy reinforced half-plate +5 is going to be composed almost entirely of crystal plates.
The combination of working with crystal and metals is always considered to be masterwork, so creating crystal weapons and armor uses the appropriate craft rules from the Players Handbook. In addition, in order for the work to finish properly, the craftsman must employ a source of burning ectoplasm. This tempers and seals the crystal, and allows for it to be imbued with psionic energy.
Crystal has the same weight as steel, a hardness of 12, and 25 hit points per inch of thickness.
While most crystal used in item construction is found naturally, there are rumors of those who know how to grow and cultivate the material.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah I saw that but those seemed to be talking more about magical (ok psionical) weapons and armor. But the Prestige class calls for a nonmagical crystal weapon.

This article has details on crystal items. Any items a psion crafts have some crytal in them; there is more crystal in the more powerful items. There are also some new ways to enhance projectile weapons.

Thaumaturge.

edit: note this the same information Wormwood found.

Yeah I saw that even though it seems to say the same thing as the PsiHB does. To me it seems like it's talking about enchanted weapons and not normal ones but the Psychic Weapon Master calls for a normal one and to me it seems that there should be a price increase.

According to th post above, there *is* a price increase for weapons made of crystal: +300gp (assumed to be part of the mw cost).

You may be over-thinking this. ;)

edit: how about his approach:

Crystal weapons grant a +1 enhancement bonus to hit for the additional cost of 300gp. They are considered masterwork for creation time and costs, as well as adding Magical enhancements.
