The character cards go to 3rd level, with two choices for subclass (on the front and back of the L3 cards).I believe it is for levels 1 and 2, so definitely shorter than LMoP

so 1 to 3 then, still less than 1 to 5, but more than single sessionThe character cards go to 3rd level, with two choices for subclass (on the front and back of the L3 cards).
yeah, not sure I trust that… did they give an estimate for LMoP? I’d assume LMoP to be longer simply based on the level range…They say it estimates at 60 hours of play. To me, thar seems longer than Phandelver, which I have always thought of as about 40 hours.
But I'm not sure how they're judged.

It seems like the Keep includes a lot of shops. Honestly, if they time it with a lot of sotcial interaction, it will take longer than a cut-to-the-chase game. (I'm not saying that Phandelver was one of those, but I can say that when I played it, we didn't do any shopping).I’d assume LMoP to be longer simply based on the level range…
Google suggests that Lost Mines is expected to take 20-40 hours officially.I don't remember if my 40-hour thinking on it comes from them, or from playing it multiple times

One thing to consider, ia that it seems that this box set is using the DMG truncated adventure prep information format, whereas Phandelver is a more old school descriptive style, and had a significant Bestiary that this set seems to offload to the cards.
The fact that there's a keep booklet suggests that at least some of the adventures aren't just about carving your way through your enemies, unless this is a very different take on Keep on the Borderlands. How is it story wise beyond hack & slash ?
Right, not that the Adventures are one page adventures, but it seems that they use the economy of space approach like woth Dragon Delves. The Starter Set adventures are bigger than the DMG style adventures. But not as big as, say, Lost Mines. They just have a lot of 1 hour scenarios.
It goes through level 3 and everyone having a subclass.I believe it is for levels 1 and 2, so definitely shorter than LMoP
