Heroes Season [Volume] 2 (#28)---10/22/07-'Flight or Fight'

Oh, and I loved that Monica was watching Bruce Lee. What a great... gamer-y thing, I guess. Very cool. Some of the things I'd make a point to watch if I suddenly acquired that power:

Martial arts films (including Jackie Chan stuff)
Cirque du Soleil shows
Recordings of past Olympics
Gene Kelley movies
Ultimate Fighting Championships
Those videos you can find on YouTube of people running up corners of walls, etc., whatever that "sport" is called
Old Michael Jackson videos :)

My guess is that if Bob is one of the old heroes, it might have started with Gold and maybe he can transmutation Full Metal Alchemist style.

Man this was a good episode. I really liked seeing the progression of a power and haven't seen that since Hiro's partial time manipulation last season.

My guess as well is that the burned figure is Peter, and Nathan still recognizes him as such regardless.

I am interested to know what happened after the season finale. Peter obviously lived a little while having his passport on him and tickets to moscow. Whatever happened seemed as if it was recent seeing as though he had some contact with Kristin Bell's character. She is quite sick, though I"m sure we'll see more of it later.

Mohinder made the bonehead move of the week. They seem to have had this plan for 9 months at least and mohinder throws it all to heck not thinking ofthe greater good. I did like the hatian and hrg working together again and it looks like there are things taking place behind the scenes.

This ep was definitely a few steps up from the past few. I suspect they're gearing up for November sweeps. I'm predicting/hoping that some big things are going to happen to Hero and Kensei before Christmas. Which is maybe why we're only getting snippets right now.

Oh and I think if your power is muscle memory, you are pretty much required to watch hundreds of hours of Bruce Lee films, and then spend a good 3-4 hours surfing Youtube to dig up whatever you can find.

They are much more willing to show grand displays of power this season. Which is probably the natural progression of someone who gains more and more control over their abilities. But I really liked the human struggle of coming to grips with one's self and the less flashier, comic-book style displays. Plus, I'm sure the budget has gotten bigger this year.

Though I am still waiting for them to top Ted almost going nuclear in little Odessa, TX.

Parkman having boring nightmares? yeah, but a nightmare none the less-- it was about his fear of being helpless and his fear of losing his family, all rolled into one. at least that is how i saw it. but true, was a very boring manifestation of it.

I think he it also showed he feared becoming like his father by abandoning his family

Good episode, a bit choppy but the show coming together again. Though I'm pretty bored by Hiro in the past.

I don't think anyone's yet mentioned the implication that Peter has been near (and known?) Kristen Bell's character Elle before, the likely source of his newfound (to us) electric powers. I find it intriguing.

My first thought when I saw her walk by the container and let sparks fly was "we now know where Peter got that power"

Also I would like to know who's her Daddy. Pun fully intended :p

The more I think about this one, the more I like it.

Nathan and Matt as a team; Matt is a follower and Nathan, lets hide behind a wall, is the brains of that team.
