Truly sorry to hear it. I'm a firm believer that the more happy people there are, the happier the happy people will be. Whatever you do, don't think about that too closely.

Well, I hope that every tomorrow will be better than it's yesterday.

And I've never actually been to St. Louis, but most of my friends have, so now I get to remember that I'm jealous of all of them.
