Compared to my normal method of organising, they're arcane. you've taken the simple act of e-mailing people and asking if they're free and turned it into something moderately complex. It's easy to understand in practice, I'll admit, but when you sit down and explain the theory...
Yes, but with your game, the opposite problem to mine applies: you have problems getting sufficient numbers for the games, whereas I have too many players to cope with

(nothing to do with the quality of arwink's games ... just that his players are hard to schedule).
As for "Da Rulez", what's so hard about:
1. Prospective games will still be announced at least one week before the scheduled date, and in all possible cases, two weeks' notice will be given.
2. Games will occur 1-2 times per month
3. Please reply either 'yes' or 'no' in all cases. If I haven't heard from you by 4pm on the Wednesday before the game, I will assume you are a 'no'.
4. I will send an e-mail at around 5pm on the Wednesday before the game to confirm who is "in". If I get replies earlier, I will advise earlier - but that depends on you!
5. As long as at least 4 players are available, the game will run.
6. Generally speaking, the first six players to reply that they wish to attend will get to play. However, some special rules will apply:
a. If you ask to play in a session and miss out, you will get 'first choice' to play in the next game, ahead of any other player (thus, it is always worth saying 'yes' if you would be able to make it)
b. If you level up in a session, you will be 'excluded' from attending the next game, so as to ensure that everyone gets a chance to play.
See? It's all very simple
