Hey, UnDfind, did you get my email?

Yup! Looks cool! Got any more yet?

I should have a decent (and somewhat readable) version of the city for you guys to look over after this weekend.

Still up for helping me with the NPC stats n' stuff?

Quest of the Delta Knights, a bad generic quasi-historical fantasy non-epic featured on MST3K and filmed at the Novato Ren-Faire.

The proper response is "It's always a nice day if it doesn't rain."
"Not if the sun's too warm."

Just so you know, Skade, Palo Alto's a good ways from Santa Barbara.

I'm from Texas, a long way is relative. California has the same problem, though. I was just too lazy to look up Palo Alto. The grad student mentioned just happens to be the only RL person I know in California, and she is terribly bored all the time.

UnDfind, sure, I can do whatever you need. Don't have more as yet, still have to redo based on discussion thus far, and I have a couple of more. Gotta work out what level of tech I am really gonna use, steampunk, magically enhanced tech, or some kind of alternate fueled tech.

santa barbra is to far for me to be able to drive. I mean, I could, but me driving is illegal after 12 midnight, whcih is in 35 minutes. plus, my parents would kill me dead. And then ground me for my next three lifetimes.

Strict parents rock!

I know that movie...It has Brigid Connely Walsh in it. I'm a big fan of hers, really. She was on Vampire 90210 (Kindred the Masquerade, actually) and some episodes of Angel and CSI.

Horrible, horrible movie.

you mean there are RL people? I thought they were all sophisticated AI. This changes everything!:D

And you're right about the whole California/Texas thing. Big states can seem awfully disproportionate sometimes. I sometimes think that California should be split into two states, just to save on political problems and special interests from one half controlling the fate of the other.

Damn, RL just intruded there...

I dunno, I've seen worse. And it's kinda charming in the "let's rip off everything we possibly can and throw in hip refernces to real life that will just confuse everybody" sort of way. And it was better than Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonder and Godzilla's Revenge, so I'm cool with it.

Don't insult Plan Nine! It's one of the greatest comedies ever made, second only to Ralph Bashki's LOTR.

Speaking of which, I read an interview of him where he claimed that his LOTR got ripped on just because he was forward about his rotoscoping. He refuses to see the Peter Jackson movies, and claims that he's going to make a comeback.
At least he liked Spirited Away.
