Bootcamp? I'm sorry. Thought of joining the service way back when, happy I didin't. Just not for me. So when you say "way back when" how long do you mean? 1E?

Say, has anybody ever told you, with those glasses you're a dead ringer for George Burns?

I started to game in 1988. I was running 1st edition books I bought at a garage sale. I still have em too. Shortly therafter I started playing 2nd, and moved to 3rd when it came along. I played Storyteller for a lot of that time though. I cam back to my roots though.

LOL, I always thought so myself.

Foghorn cove has a nice ring to it! Consider that stolen!
Do you have any more?

Another question:
Im my all rogues campaign Im setting them up in a "usual suspects" kinda way (keyser is the local spymaster) But what crimes could they be doing? They did mug a merchant in the first session, but I need more assignments (they are all 2nd level).

Any more steampunk names? Lemme think, for locations or something else?

Protection rackets. Numbers running. Illegal gambling of all sorts. Leg breaking. Blackmail. Special robberies. Deliveries. Paying off the Man.

I'm working on my own article actually. Fun with steam technology.

Hmm... how about Reefside... Brineton... Triton Bay...

as far as the thieves... maybe assasinating a high ranking city official who just so happens to stand in the bosses way, or maybe has figured out who he is... retrieving some stolen contraband that is being taken out of town... finding a way through the sewers for more smuggling; the other routes keep getting plugged up by those pesky town guards...

Dragongirl. Serious question.

One of the items I designed for my article, which was designed several months ago, is similar, but in no way identical to an item found in Savage Species. The mechanics are quite different, and its a wholy new design, but still similar (actually the SS one is more powerful, but way more expensive, and mine has an added feature). Should I still include it. The name and function are different.

How about a protection scheme. Makes use of Intimidate.
3 card monte. Bluff and Pick Pocket (sleight of hand)
illegal gambling.

Edit: Beaten to the punch by Skade.:o
