Do racists hate you for your species? Obviously not.

Interesting that you should ask that. At least into the 1800's there were people who claimed that the different groups typically called 'races' were actually seperate species. Of course, we know today that this is not true (& shudder at the thought process behind the notion), but at that time & for those people, 'racism' was indeed conceived of as being based on seperate species.

Actually, I was referring specifically to (misguided) 'scientists' who indeed used the term 'species', not race.

I hadn't included the UA variants, because they're variants. If you do that, that's fine just increase the number for all the other subraces for all the other races too.

Also don't forget the two (I think) races of elf in Warcraft. And doesn't Ebberon have a couple? Even some sort of undead, or is that a template?

No (thank the gods), Eberron has no new elf subraces, or any subraces at all, except the drow. And there's the Umbragen (drow subrace), but they're from an issue of Dragon.
