Honestly, if WoTC didn't create it would 4e be D&D?

Ah. This must be a new meaning of kill that I wasn't aware of before.

I guess so... from the merriam-webster.com online dictionary

Kill
2 a: to put an end to <kill competition> b: defeat, veto <killed the amendment> c: to mark for omission; also : delete d: annihilate, destroy <kill an enemy>

Here you go if you don't believe me...

:D Guess you learn something new every day.

Precisely.

Hint: violence.

Uhm, again it's apparent that you don't know anything about Reign and, instead of just admitting your lack of knowledge, continue an argument in which you make less and less sense with each post. How do you think you put an end to another kingdom?

Hint: violence

If the game was not called D&D, it would be an obscure side-interest at best.

Brand loyalty for this name is freakin' insane. :)

Agreed. There are dozens upon dozens of D&D clones that have the same races, similar 'scared cows', and the same kind of 'pastiche' approach to fantasy. Some of them are even quite good. None of them sell very well, not because they're inherently worse games than D&D, but because they don't say "Dungeons & Dragons" on the cover.

Hopefully, with just me and my broadsword, kicking ass and taking loot.

Real men don't need reinforcements.

To be precise, personal-level violence, such as is seen in WoW and D&D.

Yet in the end... Reign gives you RAW to put an end to a kingdom

D&D 4e leaves it up to your DM to decide if it's even possible. So how again does D&D 4e support this?

What stops you in Reign from playing it out at this level if your GM chooses to make it a viable route?

Answer: Nothing

Again close but no cigar. Reign gives more options, the story itself and how it plays out are up to individual groups.

Indeed, it is true that nothing stops you playing Reign like D&D.

Ponder on the implications of this, young padawan.
