Horizon Walker Shirting Ability

So, a player took the Horizon Walker prestige class. The question is, does his Shifting planar terrain mastery ability work on any plane, or only on the chaotic planar planes?

The (3.5) DMG says (p. 190):
Terrain Mastery said:
...Horizon walkers take their terrain mastery with them wherever they go. They retain their terrain mastery bonuses on skill checks, attack rolls, and damage rolls whther they're actually in the relevant terrain or not. For example, a horizon walker who has selected desert terrain mastery is immune to fatigue even if she's underground, in the mountains or in a city.

You have the supernatural ability to use the ever-shifting nature of planes such as Limbo and the Plane of Shadow to travel faster. You instinctively anticipate shifts in the reality of the plane that bring you closer to your destination, giving you the spell-like ability to use dimension door (as the spell cast at your character level) once every 1d4 rounds. ...

I think the Shirting ability comes from the Plane of Fashion, doesn't it?

If you want to make the flavour text fit with the mechanics, remember that the Plane of Shadow is coincident with the Material Plane... so the Horizon Walker might be availing himself of ripples in the Shadow Plane to move himself from one coincident point to a second, different point, without actually leaving the Material Plane.

I have a mental image of a kid standing under a rotating clothesline. At some point, he reaches up, grabs the clothesline, hangs on for a couple of seconds, and lets go; he has remained on the same plane himself (the ground), but the motion of the other plane (the clothesline) has enabled him to traverse within his own.

I thought about bringing something up along those lines, but I was afraid that if I took too long to type my post, Hypersmurf or someone would get a post in ahead of mine & make it obsolete. :uhoh:
