hostility within party, what do you guys think?

Wait until they are asleep, steal their stuff and then leave. Or choose to not back them up during a fight, start some rumors at the local bar, you can do all kinds of things to mess them up and........ oh wait you are asking how to resolve this.

Honestly since this has happened before with other characters, it sounds more like one person is just picking on the other person and using their characters to do so.

Talk to your players, especially the one who is doing the stealing, find out why he is doing this. If it is causing a problem with the players, tell him.

Without being there though, I have a hard time giving any better advice than this.

As I said in the previous post, 14. What is immature, the Archer's reaction, or the other's action?

That Archer's player has to be very patient. I'd quit such a party right away, and would probably never play with them. Also, a DM that allows others ganging up on one player is a very sorry DM. There should be a rule in the core rules where such DMs got their DMG confiscated and got a branding "bad DM" on the forehead. Really. The whole party is royally pissing that one off - with the consent of the DM, who really should have intervened long before! - and you're asking who's overreacting?

I think it serves them perfectly right if that player goes and the campaign has to be discontinued.

Can there be rule-mandated junk-kicking too?

If I was the archer, I'd wait for the rest of the party to be nigh-helpless, then kill them all.

Hear, hear.

I played with a group full of PC-killing wankers once (just once) many years ago. I got wind via GM-passed-note that the entire group was plotting against my character in order to get their hands on my PC's spaceship (Traveler game).

I turned the tables on them but good. IIRC, there were six other players in that session. My retired Imperial Navy officer sabotaged the ship, radioed ahead to port authorities where the ship would have to land about the mutiny and contraband aboard, and personally capped half of the other PCs before getting killed himself. The ship was impounded and another PC died resisting arrest.

When they asked if I was going to make the next game session, I informed them of which parts of my anatomy were available to be kissed.

Ok, so my party is fighting a dragon. 5th level party, going up against a juvinile dragon (I think). Anyway, one of the characters, an Archer, got hit by the Dragon's breath attack, and went down to 4 HP. Once the dragon was killed, the evil barbarian subdualed with a punch and knocked the Archer out. He took his share of the treasure. When the archer awoke, he was in a hospital room. The other characters claim that the dragon knowcked him out, and that they apent all of his treasure to heal him. Needless to say, the Archer wasn't too happy about this. He thinks that he should have remembered who hit him. However, the other characters argue that he was at such a low HP, he was dazed and really couldn't remember what happened clearly. Is this a clear rationale? Also, this has been happening to the Archer's other characters quite a bit, and he's had enough of other player killing, or threatining to kill his character, and is probably gonna quit. Is he overreacting?

Is the archer overreacting? Hell no! I'm wondering why he's still there at all.

I'm also wondering what the rest of the alignment of this group is. Any of them, say, "GOOD?" And if so, why did they put up with this crap?

New sig AHOY! And I called the character, we're both fed up with the PKing and decided to quit. Maybe make a new campaign. And no,there was 2 evil, and a nuetral (mine).

Good for you!

PS this is why my group doesn't permit evil characters. Sure, it's a little wussy, but it makes it easier to avoid this kind of fighting.

It's why my group avoids 14-year-old players. :D
