Hot guys at Gencon?

I wasn't there, first off, but I keep seeing these posts about booth babes and hot girls and I just want to know...

Were there any hot guys? Booth hunks?

You know I was just complaining to my wife that D&D is greying hobby, when we go to GenCon and I find myself thinking "wow, there are a lot of young people here." And a lot of them were guys, and a lot of those were anywhere from normal on up in terms of appearance. I'm not the best at judging good looking guys. :)

I didn't see any booth hunks. Other than, you know, the game designers and stuff. Well, Claudio, but that's about it.

*sigh*

I'm disappointed that SEVERAL people used the line: 'Well, I was there'. :D

But most of the time, gamers tend to be musicians, artists, actors, etc. That, inherantly, requires a certain amount of charisma. I, personally, am exceptionally punk rock (70s punk rock, that is), and typically wear corporate punk attire. I'm also the front man in a band (I, Zombie: we sound just like the Misfits, circa 1977), so I must posess a certain amount of charisma.

And there are many others like myself at these events, so I'm comfortable in saying that yes, there were hot guys there...

...even though I wasn't there. ;)

Funny, but the vast majority of my gaming groups have been tech and science geeks. And funny, but a lot of them have had charisma, too.

Don't over-generalize, dang it!

!

I'm sorry, I meant to include those fellas too.

Etc. = Basically anyone in a profession which is generally interesting.

When I went to Gencon in '97 there were lots of booth babes (hired just to were chainmail bikinis, etc), but I didn't notice any male equivalents.

However, there were plenty of hot guys amongst the attendees (and not-so-hot ones either), but then I like gamer geek as a fashion (or lack there of ;-)
