How do you pronounce Svirfneblin?

I believe it's actually a Gnomish word, and pronounced "smith".

I go with Snoweel's pronunciation. One of my svirfneblin NPCs is called Snirvith (pronounced sneer-veeth). He's a sorcerer with a chip on his shoulder about other races mispronouncing his name and racial name. He has my sympathy.

I say Suh Verf Neb Lin, myself.

That's how I pronounce it too.

That is not based on any enunciated pronunciation guide or nordic language, but that's how it looks to me like it should be pronounced based on the letters.
