I'm feeling burnt out by my freelancing. There are many books (both gaming and fiction) on my shelves I've yet to read and a campaign that needs more loving attention. And yet, as soon as a light appears at the end of the freelancing tunnel, I decide to take on 2 or 3 more projects. There's been precious few days strung together where I have just done nothing--relax with a book or go to a movie--without worrying about a looming deadline. I'm not sure how full-time writers do it but more power to them.
I don't want to quit freelancing and lose any momentum or name recognition I have. That brings me to the question at hand--how to recharge the 'ol battery? The best outlet at the moment is hiking but I'm wondering what everyone else does to regain creative strength when gaming/life seems to get you down.
