True. A ranger would still have far less of a problem getting the larger game--which is, of course, half the point of a ranger.

I've watched a lot of survival shows though. Still not easy or certain, and all of those people would qualify as rangers in that respect.

Do be fair, those shows (a) take place in the real world, which is often not teeming with wildlife in the places that are being filmed, and (b) often involve potentially noisy camera crews which probably scare away the game.

But anyway. Stopping the journey for 1d4 days to track down a deer or similarly-sized animal or animal-like creature, then properly deal with the carcass, in exchange for... a lot more than 1 or 2 Supply, seems fair to me.
