Pielorinho
Iron Fist of Pelor
I got an email from Gencon a couple weeks ago telling me that they'd messed up in mailing me my tickets and registration badge, but that they'd be available as "will call" tickets (I forget if they used that term--basically, I can pick my tickets up at the con).
Now, the only GenCon I went to was in 2003, where I danced a happy jig that I wasn't standing in that registration line outside, the one that snaked around the building like Midgard. I'm a little trepidatious about having to stand in a line this time.
I've got a game at 10 am on Friday, and I'm trying to decide between two different plans now:
1) Leaving for Gencon early tomorrow, showing up around 8 pm, getting my tickets, and then trying to find a hotel in Indianapolis for Thursday night (I've already got my room for Friday and Saturday); or
2) Leave a little later tomorrow, find a cheesy hotel about an hour outside of Indianapolis for Thursday night, and get up bright and early Friday morning to drive into town and get my tickets/registration badge.
Does anyone know what the hours for the badge pickup will be at the Con?
Daniel
