I've been here since before 3E came out (by about 4 months or so I believe). My first incarnation was that of WRAETHU, but when Morrus took over I decided on something a little simpler and opted for my current name of Eye Tyrant. This is one of only a handful of boards I visit with any regularity, Monty Cook's being another.

I think my original sign-up date was March of 2000, though I lurked a tiny bit before I plunged in.

I was around when Eric was hosted on... what was it, I can't even remember... his own ISP? Before he moved to RPGPlanet.com, I know that, and I Think he was using EZ Boards or something similar. I found it because I was not liking the sound of 3E and wanted to discuss my fears with others.

Boy was I proven wrong!

I joined shortly after Tsyr, soon after Eric moved the boards to RPGPlanet. I was playtesting 3e at the time, and so was interested in the main site. Ironically enough, I never knew the messageboards existed until I followed a link from usenet's r.g.f.d.!

Then I was hooked. Nicer people, friendlier place, more interesting discussion. Hard to beat that, really.

I first signed on around May of 2000, but I don't post often. I am not very good at expressing my self, nor do I tend to think quite as fast as lots of the average posters. So I lurk a lot and learn a lot.

My first few posts, IIRC was in the infamous Star Trek equals Communism thread.

I lurked for a long while, probably checking in once a month back in the Eric Noah days. Didn't actually sign up and start posting til earlier this year when my internet got connected at home and I started throwing ideas at Natural 20...

I have been lurking around since about a month before the release of 3E. However I didn't start really spending time on the message boards until October of last year. However since January I have become a bit more frequent of a poster.

I'm not a particularly heavy poster, most of my time is spent reading other people's posts. I joined before GenCon of 2000. I'm guessing around June of 2000 or so.
