How long have you been a member of this community?

Since right around the time the PHB was released. Shortly after, I think.

But I've been a bit of a prodigal son at times. I left for a few monthes and didn't have anything to do with gaming.

Now, it's hard to imagine that! :D

Another long-time lurker here, from at least a few months before the Players Handbook came out. Don't recall how I found Eric's site. Think a friend emailed a link with news about 3E. We had not playd DnD for years, and had not gamed at all for while. The enthusiasm about 3E got us playing again.

Don't usually have much to say, but enjoy "listening" to the conversation.

I started coming here roughly six months before Morrus succeeded Eric. I discovered the main site a couple of months before that (via one of the WotC employees mentioning surfing the web at RPGplanet). After a few weeks I followed the link to the messageboards, lurked for a month or two, and now I've been here ever since.

I first found (and regularly visited) Eric's site a year before 3E, just a few months after he made the site. I didn't start posting on the message boards until the PH was released, though.

unlike many of the others....i just joined recently after stumbling upon the site, but i am a posting machine!

geuss i am just a little loud :p

I think it must be close to 3 1/2 years, since very near the beginning of the message board I reckon. I guess I'm just not nearly a prolific enough poster to be considered one of the old guard.

Well, I was a regular visitor to Eric Noah's "Unofficial 3E News Site" from May 2000 and onward - but did not actually begin posting to the boards regularly until December of 2000.

The rest is history. . .
