How long have you been with your gaming group?

I've started a campaign with a new group only two weeks ago.
However, I've known all the group's members for 2 years, so that was my answer.

Because of the isolated locale in which i live and a number of anti-social disorders (that's a joke, I hope) I've been known for running notoriously small groups. Most of my games have consisted of a single PC and the largest game I've ever run involved only three players. I've been gaming for nearly 15 years now and my very first player is still involved in an ongoing campaign that began shortly after the release of 3.0e.

13 years with group 1. One person "went away", one stopped gaming, one came as a replacement but the other 5 are still the same from day 1

3 years in group 2; in this group we have 4 of the 5 that are from group 1

Some members I have gamed with off and on for about 6 years. The new group consists of players from 5 years to 5 months. The other group that I am an "honorary" member of (Work / kids blocks my playing with them now) I have been playing with since 1991 ( wow...that long.... )

I've been with my current group for roughly 11 years. Our most recent addition was in June of 2001. Over the years, we have cycled people out and new people in, but there are two people who were with the group before I started.

My other group has been around for for almost the same amount of time. Though there were a few years where I didn't game with them.

The most recent campaign is about a year old and Macbeth was one of the new additions to the group.

This group pretty much came together 4 years ago, though it has members who were in my original group 20 years ago, as well as a member that was new to it 3 months ago.

For the most part my group has been together for about 3 years, One player has been with me for 10+ years another for about 5, and the others about three.

Our campaign began in May of 1982. Of the six current members of the group, four have been with us since the first game and the other two since 1984. Our current module has two of the founding characters in it. And four of the above six players played together in another gaming group during the year prior to our campaign.

My current group that I am the DM for, less than a month. This group was formed because the previous group in which I was a player only lasted three months, a very sporadic three months at that!

I voted for 10 years +. People have come and gone over the years, and sometimes we move apart and then fate draws us back together. So while the years may have not been contiguous, I will still count them.

Only a couple of my players ever visit these boards, but let me just say thank you to Rod, Bill, Noel, Jerry, Dave, Tamela, Mike, Norm, and Tom. Some of these folks almost never get to game with us anymore, but when the world at large permits, they always find a place to throw their dice at my house.
