How long have you been with your gaming group?

I've got three groups I'm a part of. We formed the first group in late 98, so six years for that one. The second group formed near the beginning of May of 01, so that is 3 years. The third group just started gaming together last month.

I've got 4 active groups at this time. Two of them are less than a year, so that is the answer I gave.

9 months
8 years
22 years (since I learned to play)

In terms of the core players I usually game with, roughly 15+ years.

My current group consists mainly of people I met in college, so just about 10 years.

With a couple of changeouts, our group has been together since I moved up here and put the group together, about four and a half years ago now.

18 years for the core group. The newest addition has been with us just under a year, the second-newest 3-1/2 years, and the third-newest 4-1/2 years. (11 of us in all.)

The current configuration playing D&D for 3 years, but I have been playing with at least one of them at any time since the early nineties, and regularly with all of them (changing campaigns) as long.

OTOH the 'crawl through WotC Level-progress books' group I have only played with for a little more than a year.

Having enough friends to form at least two groups results in some changes in group configurations between campaigns.

Met one of my players in- 1980 in the original group I learned with, been friends off and on for all that time.

Met my wife in '85 or was it '84? In high school. She's been playing sense- oh, '85.

Met the Obs in March of '89 so that's coming up on 16 yrs. 'dems good Players, only one is a GM thou.

Met the other Ob just a month or so ago, he's interesting. Claims to be leaving mid to later part of next year.

I say about fifteen years when asked.

I'm in a few groups. A Forgotten Realms campaign my friend has been running at university started in October 2004; I've been playing in a d20 Wheel of Time game for two years or so; and I joined Hong's Britannia campaign in May 2004.

My "core" group, or at least I and the two other guys that make up its axis, have been gaming together for about five years. However, I've just recently (within the past six months or so) joined in on two other groups, GMing for one and playing in the other. I voted 5 years, as that's the most important of the three, and the one that's most likely to keep together the longest.
