How long it takes to craft

I have a question that I hope can be answered by the collective rules expertise of this board.



Another player in my campaign would like to craft some masterwork arrows. He wants to know if he bases the time needed to make them off of market price or the price he pays in raw materials(which would be 1/3 off).

Anybody have an answer? I can't find anything in the craft skill which says one way or the other.

Everything is calculated off the market price. You pay 1/3 the market price in materials, and you craft a certain fraction of the marketprice every week based on your craft check.

With the DC of 20 for masterwork. it takes you (20x20) in cp's (for one days work) tward the 700cp cost for ONE masterwork arrow.

So if you can make the Base DC 20 craft roll each day. You can make one masterwork arrow in 2 days.
