Candlekeep is great because you can discuss FR novels without having to worry about the Thought Police on Wizards' forums.

With Monte not posting there regularly, the whole site has sort of dwindled. It had been a regular stop for me, but it's a weekly at best one currently, and will probably drop off to monthly in the new year.

Weirdly enough, Monte has been posting far more regularly to his boards than when he was writing a lot of d20 material. (Aside from a recent absence during his move.) However, traffic is way down I assume because of his announcement that he's moving on to other types of writing.

On topic, I visit about a dozen gaming boards, and subscribe to a few mailing lists as well. ENWorld traffic is up - many of the others seem to be dwindling. It's weird.
