Making decisions as your character.
If you've done what Pawsplay said, you've made that functionally impossible in most cases.
Making decisions as your character.
I have no idea what you are talking about. I've never said that I wouldn't say if someone was a good fighter, or even better or worse than your PC. You just aren't getting exact numbers in my game, because your PC would have no way of determining that level of granularity. So this is the reality you are bringing to the game? I'm not allowed to know bonuses or numbers, and you also are going to refuse to tell me if someone seems like a good fighter? What exactly is my role in this game?

You brought up the real world and your ability to see how good someone is. I merely pointed out that you could not tell what either your bonuses were or the bonuses of the person you are observing. You don't get to bring up the real world and then object when the real world is used to refute you.![]()
Is that so? You need numbers to play your character appropriately? Because description from the GM and questions from the player based on their PC's experience get the job done as far as I'm concerned. If you've done what Pawsplay said, you've made that functionally impossible in most cases.

Riiiiiiiight. You can see numbers floating over the heads of everyone you meet, indicating their skill levels at everything. Gotcha. You haven't refuted me, you just admitted you don't have the expertise to judge my claim.

When you are role-playing a character in any RPG, you are trying to be your character. You aren't trying to be yourself in that RPG setting. This is what makes RPGs a lot of fun.Making decisions as your character.
I can definitely see something floating over your head.Riiiiiiiight. You can see numbers floating over the heads of everyone you meet, indicating their skill levels at everything. Gotcha.
I figured as much. You might want to seek help for your vision problems. Hopefully it's just your vision.I can definitely see something floating over your head.
