How well does Spycraft mesh with d20 Modern?

I've filched some bits from Spycraft Lite for my Modern game, and I'm considering some more as well. However, I like Modern basic, advanced, and prestige classes too much to change to Spycraft completely.
Yep. My thoughts exactly. I'm not really into the whole spy genre so there isn't too much appeal to me in the base SC2 classes, and I like the set up of D20 Modern classes better anyway, so those are the ones that I'm going to use. SC2 does autofire, chases, and all around vehicle rules better, so those will be added to D20 Modern.

I'd like to see the d20 Modern classes converted to Spycraft, but preferably without Talants. They should have been Feats in the first place.

Some work doesn't bother me at all. The SC2 rules are better in enough places to warrant it.

When I think about it, d20 Modern classes aside, I can't think of anything d20 Modern has over Spycraft 2.0.

True, thats just an opinion though.

The stuff I'd add to SC2 from the D20 Modern line is mostly stuff that isn't in it already: mutations, cybernetics, magic, and psionics.

If you check the AEG Spycraft GC (Game Controls) board, you will see that there is a fan made Cybernetics conversion being built (as well as the hint that the official one is in the pipeline for next year) and there will be a conversion document that will be downloadable for free that will cover Psionics and Magic soon. It will be the document for Dark Inheritance. (there are some examples up already for the Gnostic and such).

I think that the SC2 classes are closer to the D20 standard of Base class is what you start doing and expert classes are specializations. I see the D20 Modern classes as too much of a - you are strong - now you have a class.

I see the difference, but I just like the way classes are set up in Modern. Yout start off with a base class that fits you're higher than average attributes and then focus from there. Plus, a lot of the Adcl's are just oozing in flavor (especially when you at in 3rd party products).

As for all the stuff I want to add. I like the way that WotC handles cybernetics, magic, and mutations. I'll check out whatever AEG puts out in those arenas, but for the time being I like what I have right now.

I think this is a common misconception with d20 Modern that for example just because Strength is your highest attribute you should be taking levels in Strong Hero. That's not the case at all, you should put take various base classes that fit the concept of your character regardless of what your stat points are.

In my view, the d20 Modern base classes are flexible enough to mix and match for nearly infinite possiblities.
