D&D 4E How would you work pantheon worship using 4e mechanics?

I always liked the idea of revering an entire pantheon instead of individual deities, as in the Eberron setting. However, the core 4e rules seem to focus on specific deity worship for divine classes (esp. for paladins, who need to match the deity's AL) rather than the general worship of the pantheon. The use of Channel Divinity-related feats emphasizes this.

Any ideas how WotC, or any of you for that matter, would work revering a pantheon of deities (like Eberron's Sovereign Host) instead of specific deity reverence as per 4E's current mechanics?

I've always had paladins be god neutral. While the flavor text states that paladins derive their powers from a particular god I don't believe there is any mechanical backbone to that. As for clerics, I'm grouping my deities into pantheons and the clerics take channel divinity feats from whatever gods they want from within the pantheon. So a cleric bound to the Temple of the Radiant Obelisk is able to choose CD feats from any of the five gods that are worshipped at that temple. Currently the only limitation on choosing CD feats is their scarcity, one per god.

As far as I've read, there is no limit to the number of gods a character can worship, and therefore, no limit to the number of CD feats one can take. It might be excessive to spend that many feats on CD, but I don't see it as unbalancing. I would think it only depends on how strict DM's are on what is considered 'worship'.
