No. In his blog. Quite new. And then he explained that similar explanations were created when the rule change from 3.0 to 3.5 happened.

So either one bemoans hiw anyone can be so mean to change something so it does not perfectly fit into your world, or one finds a solution how all that happened in the world.

Of course, that is if you are accepting that lore evolves.

Keith has his own setting. Any setting can have its own lore. And for the record I like Eberron's lore. For Eberron. That's not what we're talking about here. We're talking about how the same creature has a different creature type depending on whether the game presents it as a PC or an NPC. Where's the explanation for that?
