I got Lost Empires of Faerûn, you got the questions

Kaeyoss,

Any info regarding the Archfiends (especially good ole Orcus!)?

Any mention of ruins dedicated to him perhaps?

Death Knights?

(Also how big a change did deepspawn undergo?)

If you don't mind, which dead or departed deities they detail in the book? I know there's Moander, Leira, Bhaal, and Myrkul, but what about the deities of Mulhorandi and Unther? Thanks in advance!

Amaunator, Auppenser, Bhaal, Gilgeam, Ibrandul, Leira, Moander, Myrkul, Ramman, Tchazzar.

Can the Magelord be a Sorcerer (spontaneous spellcaster) or only a Wizard (memorized spells)?

Wizard only, and really wizard only, as you need spell mastery. The PrC wouldn't make sense for sorcerers, anyway, since it all revolves around using mastered spells as signature spells (so you convert other spells into those like a cleric spontaneously casts cure spells).

Haven't seen his name yet. Generally, archfiends only get mentioned briefly if at all (Eltab appears shortly in the God-Kings chapter). There is a short write-up, including stats, of the balor who had a hand in seducing the Ilythiiri elves to revere the Dark Seldarine

Death Knights?

No death knight.

(Also how big a change did deepspawn undergo?)

They're CR 10 now, have drastically improved ability scores, are huge

Of the elfblades, what abilities differentiates the Warblade and the Artblade from the Crownblade?

Crownblade: Has bonus to knowledge and spellcraft checks, heal 3/day, discern lies at will. It's the strictest of the blades when it comes to evaluating a prospective wielder, and almost certainly kills unsuitable wielders (death or 40d6 damage). Wielders must be exceptional leaders.
Warblade: has blade barrier 1/day bull's strength 3/day, detect eveil and detect good at will. Strikes at unsuitable wielders with injuries that are only very hard to heal. Wielders must be great warriors
Artblade: All spells are silence, still and eschewed without any cost. Evocations at +1 cl, greater dispel 3/day and detect magic at will. Wielders must be competent spellcasters. If unsuitable candidates will lose their spellcasting ability for 1d6 years (fort half). Shadow weave users are disintegrated.

Kaeyoss,

Thanks man for the insights.

Any info on how ole Moldy is coming back if at all? Does it relate at all to Lolth's Silence?

(Deepspawn CR 10! Yeah!! :) That's way more like it. Deepspawn are supposed to be THIS bad ass to exist. Still think the combo of them PLUS a Dark Womb, very nasty.)

Regarding the former Dark Twosome, Bhaal's followers, any mention of the Bhaalspawn?

Myrkul, any chance he might come back?

I've been told, about a day or so ago, that the Bhaalspawn are mentioned but only as a sentence like, "He made offspring that are the Bhaalspawn."

What are the requirements for the Olin Gisir? Are they the same or similar to the Loremaster? I have a sun elf diviner that is heading towards Loremaster, but Olin Gisir sounds like it would fit better.

How much of a description does Chessenta get? How specific does the history of Myth Drannor get; what does the book describe as the source of its fall?

How well is the connection between Amaunator and Lathander explored? Does the Sunmaster have to be good?

What are the new magic items (besides the sceptres and the artifacts) like, if there are any? Are there any interesting new spells?
