I had a dream about Gez last night.

Dreaming about freelance work on a campaign setting?

That could be the most boring thing I've ever heard in my entire life.

My dreams usually involve gunfights, detective work, cool team-ups, and fantastic settings.

You sir, are teh loozer for teh day.

But yes, get out more!!!

ROFL! Welcome to my new .sig!

Man, I dream about going someplace other than C'ville, and you dream about coming here...

You could always come to Richmond. :) And for what it's worth, I didn't accept the position. :)

So, in my dream Rasyr (Tim) had hired me and Gez to work on a new campaign setting for ICE. Initially, I thought that this would be freelance work, and I accepted. And the money was really pretty good. But it turns out that Rasyr intended to hire us full time, to actually work in the Charlottesville offices working on a new HARP setting.

Tim is gonna charge you for stealing his life story for your dream  because that's kinda what happened to him. He just wanted to help work on something which evolved into HARP and his fulltime job with ICE. :)

Wow, my dreams are so not appropriate for the rest of this thread....Not even the "good" ones qualify! Eek! I'm evil and dirty! Oh wait, I knew that already...

You know you're spending far too much time on ENWorld, when you begin to dream about ENWorlders.

Gez jumped at the chance, and I knew he was from Europe somewhere. He moved to Charlottesville to begin working on the new project.

So, initially everything was fine, because I was on some sort of vacation, and so I could devote a few days to it, but I let Gez and Rasyr know that the amount of money they were paying me was pittance to my normal salary, and I couldn't do it as a full time job. This upset Gez considerably, who felt like I was abandoning him.

And at first, I was like, "Gez? Who the hell is that? Is that some low-post count lurker?" And then I met Gez, who was this punk-ass 20 year old "kid" and he showed me his avatar (of that elf thingy) and I was like "Oh damn, you're a regular, now I know who you are!"

But it didn't change the fact that he hated me for abandoning him, and we were at a restaurant, and Gez was arguing with me, and I told him that we needed to take it outside, and at first he thought I was going to fight him, and I said, "Don't worry, I'm nonviolent." But when we get outside, Gez has these two thugs with him, and they try to attack me, but I dodge (must have taken the feat, I guess), and I got away.

That was more or less all I remember.

No hard feelings, eh Gez?

That's a strange Gez you've dreamed of.

As for the avatar, here's its full version:

I adopted it when I was working on something and not finding how to advance in that work. The bored, frustrated expression on that face was perfect.

Sorry, but if I can let some people pretend I'm a punk-ass 20-YO kid with hired guns (because it's funny), I can't accept people pretending I would have an elf-thingy for avatar. It's a gnome, not an elf!
