[I hate it when WotC makes it hard for you]---How to expand Duskblade spell list?

Ari, are you forgetting what's par for the course here? People usually start arguing about things being broken and badly designed and house ruling stuff even before books are released. The fact that people are waiting a week to change the spell list shows great restraint

Well, the problem with that statement is simply that I am not looking for a change to the spell list, but some guidelines to extrapolate the spell list.

In a way, a lot of the complaints are beating around the bush.

The Duskblade is "another option".

Some players don't like multi-classing, and want a single-class solution for a spell-wielding combat type...

I perfectly understand that, having uses such principles to guide my campaign class choices in the past.

But if someone is having difficulty realizing an concept, and a seeming solution is right in front of them using tools that already exist, I don't think I'm remiss for pointing it out. If for some other reason that solution doesn't work for them, I can't help or predict that.
