As implied, it's a term from 2E for a fighter/mage githyanki. It has been used without the githyanki context to mean any fighter/mage build or class.Scraht said:I'm a youngin' mahself... so I've never heard the term. What does Gish stand for/short for/mean ?

Names are arbitrary and while a lot of people get excited about their various connotations, I don't. Call it a 'gish', or a 'fighter-mage', or a 'bladesinger', or a 'spoozle', and I'll react to it the same way, based purely on the flavor and the mechanics.
And, regarding your age assumption, I'm 32.
